addy.io

addy.io is an open-source service from the United Kingdom for email aliases and forwarding. Users create as many throwaway addresses as they like, and each one passes incoming messages on to the actual inbox. This keeps the real address hidden when signing up for online services. Aliases help against spam and data trading, since an abused or annoying address can be switched off without changing the main mailbox. A free tier exists next to paid options. The United Kingdom is outside the EU, so the provider is European but not an EU company.
