About FHEM

FHEM is a smart home server from Germany, written in Perl and meant for self-operation. It runs on your own hardware, for example a Raspberry Pi, a NAS or a PC. With it you can control lighting, shutters, heating and other household devices, record sensor readings and connect numerous protocols and services. FHEM can be operated through its integrated web interface, TCP and telnet access or additional frontends. The project is open source, free and can replace Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit or Google Home.
