About fotocommunity

The fotocommunity is a German community for photography. It arose in 2001, is run by fotocommunity GmbH in Cologne and has belonged to the WEKA group since 2012. It is meant for hobby and professional photographers who want to show pictures, receive critique and keep learning. Pictures can be placed in subject areas and arranged into a portfolio. The site calls itself the largest German-speaking photo community; versions in English, French, Italian and Spanish exist as well. Access is free. Comparable to Flickr.
