HiDrive is a cloud storage service from STRATO GmbH in Germany. The data is kept in TÜV-certified data centres in Germany, and the service states that it complies with the GDPR. Storage is encrypted, and end-to-end encryption based on the zero-knowledge principle can be switched on as an option. Access is protected by two-factor authentication, and besides the web interface, protocols such as SFTP, WebDAV and SMB are supported. STRATO was founded in 1997 and belongs to IONOS Group SE.
