About Restic

Restic backs up data quickly, securely and economically. Encryption happens already on the user's own machine, and deduplication avoids duplicate data. According to the provider it works on Linux, macOS, Windows and BSD. Targets are local folders, SFTP, a REST server or S3-compatible cloud storage. The security model assumes that the storage location cannot be trusted. Restic costs nothing.
