About Safing Portmaster

Safing Portmaster is an open-source application firewall and network monitor with fine-grained control over a device's traffic. It includes a built-in tracker and ad blocker as well as secure DNS via DoH and DoT. The program is developed by the Austrian company Safing ICS Technologies GmbH under the GPLv3 and has been audited by Cure53. The optional Safing Privacy Network (SPN) provides multi-hop routing for privacy. Free and paid offers exist, and the program is regarded as an alternative to Little Snitch and GlassWire.
