T Cloud Public

Deutsche Telekom runs its own public cloud with T Cloud Public; T-Systems International GmbH in Bonn is responsible. The service began in 2016 under the name Open Telekom Cloud and has carried its new name since 2026. Its technical basis is OpenStack, and its target groups are businesses, public bodies and research in Europe. On offer are compute capacity (also with GPUs), containers, block and object storage, networks, databases, big data and AI services, and managed services by Telekom staff. Listed are data centres in Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland as well as ISO 27001, BSI C5 and TISAX. Paid; an alternative to AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
