DBMail

DBMail is an open-source mail delivery agent that stores messages in databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and speaks common mail protocols.

About DBMail

DBMail is an open-source mail delivery agent from the United Kingdom. It supports the standard protocols IMAP, POP, ManageSieve and LMTP, and stores incoming messages in a database such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle instead of as plain files. That is meant to ease operation and scaling of larger mail systems. DBMail can be tied to existing user directories like ActiveDirectory or OpenLDAP, sorts mail with SIEVE, and can run with high availability through database replication and Docker images. It is an alternative to Mail-in-a-Box for anyone who runs their own mail server.
