Delta Chat
Decentralized messenger from Germany that uses email infrastructure - no separate server necessary.
About Delta Chat
Delta Chat is a decentralized messenger from Germany that uses email infrastructure as a transport medium - without its own central server. Messages are transmitted as encrypted emails via IMAP/SMTP and can be used with any existing email account. Thanks to the Autocrypt standard, end-to-end encryption occurs automatically between Delta Chat users. The project is completely open source, is supported by the Gesellschaft für Freiheitliche Software e.V. and is ad-free.
