About SimpleLogin

SimpleLogin belongs to Proton in Switzerland and is an open-source service for email aliases. For sign-ups, unique alias addresses can be created that forward messages to your own inbox; replying or sending is also possible through the alias. In addition there are custom domains, catch-all aliases and PGP forwarding, managed through the web, browser extensions and apps. This keeps the real address hidden, and an alias can simply be switched off if it attracts spam. The service is an alternative to Gmail.
